The Harris Wedding, one of my favorites!

I’ve been quite busy the past couple months and have done some really fun weddings and have been able to work with some truly amazing people! One couple I had the privilege of working with was Kaylie and Michael! Here are a few images from their wedding:

This was a same day edit on most of these images so that I could get them ready to print for the reception which was the next day. I really enjoyed working with Kaylie and Michael. They both have awesome personalities and are very good looking, which makes my job so much easier 🙂 Here are a few more of them:

1st place at the State Fair!

So I had thought about entering the state fair for quite sometime this year but kept putting it off, especially once August hit and I was so busy with weddings. But I hurried in on the last day with 2 prints and entered them into the contest. It was a rushed day because I also had a wedding and was actually on my way to the wedding when I dropped off the images. It was a bit tight time wise to get everything done and on time but I did and I am glad I did!

I entered 2 images, one into the Professional Wedding Category and the other, a family portrait, into the Professional Group Portraits. Here are the 2 images:

1st place award in Professional Wedding Photography!

3rd place overall in Professional Group Portraits!

I didn’t even expect to place, as it was my first time and I was competing against some pretty amazing veteran photographers. I was very excited when I went on the first day and saw that I had not only placed, but received the first place award in the wedding category! I was also quite happy about the 3rd place award in the group portraits!

There was a lot of tough competition in both categories and many great looking images by wonderful photographers. I am very grateful that I took the time to enter! I exceeded my own expecations, that is for sure! If you haven’t had time to go up and see the images at the state fair, I would put it on the schedule! Over 1700 entries this year! Many wonderful images to see! The fair ends on the 16th so hurry up there!

Alyson and David Salt Lake City Temple Wedding!

It was great getting to work with Alyson and David! They are both photogenic and very easy going! I enjoyed spending the whole day with them and their families! Here are a few pictures from the their Salt Lake City Temple Wedding!

For some reason I really like the following picture. Not sure why it stands out to me about many of the others.

More family pictures!

I had fun doing the Clark/Pixton family pictures a few weeks ago. It was fast and easy because they were great to work with and very entertaining, as you can tell by the pictures!

this one was probably my favorite picture of all the pictures we did because it was completely un-planned and unposed but turned out awesome!

Free pictures in November!

So I’ve been doing some free pictures this month to get my name out and to allow people to get some good photo’s for christmas cards for free! Here are a few I have done!

Alphin Family

I work with Nate Allphin at Orangesoda and was happy that he wanted to get some pictures done. This was my first “real” shoot using my new 7D. They turned out pretty good considering I only had about 3-4 hours total time using the camera before this shoot! Plus it always helps to have a good looking family for pictures!

Whitesides Family

The Whitesides are in my ward and were one of the first to jump on my offer for free pictures. They are awesome people and very easy to photograph!

I love the colors of the grass and the leaves! The Whitesides picked great colors for the pictures and the location!

The Merrell Family

The Merrells are my 3rd cousins, or maybe 2nd once removed 🙂 She is 20 weeks pregnant and you can’t even tell. She looks amazing and they both turned out to be very easy to work with and we had a great time taking pictures! The sky and clouds were beautiful!

It was actually Brightons birthday! I was excited and honored to be able to take these on her birthday for her! They turned out great!

The Wright Family

Amy was referred to me by my good friend Kallie who she works with and I was very happy to except the opportunity to take their family pictures! The location and lighting was perfect! The snow made for great christmas card pictures!

Wedding Coverage ranges from $600-$1800. Contact me today for a personalized price quote!

Please contact me for custom pricing and needs, other wise see the À la carte price list below. I am willing to work with any budget and we can find something that will work for you! If you do not think you can afford me, contact me! I am open to fair trades and many other options!

Additional Traveling Info:

I am willing to travel anywhere in the world for your wedding! We can make it work if you are interested in having me be your photographer.

*Live Close to Utah? If I can drive there in 12 hours or less add an additional $400 travel fee and I will see you at your wedding!*

U.S. Copyright laws:

“In the case of photographs, it is sometimes difficult to determine who owns the copyright and there may be little or no information about the owner on individual copies. Ownership of a “copy” of a photograph – the tangible embodiment of the “work” – is distinct from the “work” itself – the intangible intellectual property. The owner of the “work” is generally the photographer or, in certain situations, the employer of the photographer. Even if a person hires a photographer to take pictures of a wedding, for example, the photographer will own the copyright in the photographs unless the copyright in the photographs is transferred, in writing and signed by the copyright owner, to another person.
